A dos días de que arranque el Mundial, Catar limita la venta de cerveza
Solo podrá ser vendida en los “Fan Fest” de la FIFA.
El Mundial de Qatar 2022 no deja de dar sorpresas, luego de todos los rumores y especulaciones acerca de cómo se eligió la sede y demás temas relacionados a la construcción de los estadios, este viernes las autoridades de Catar y de la FIFA, dieron un anunció que sorprendió a muchos debido a que solo faltan dos días para que arranque la Copa del Mundo.
Y es que según comunicaron ya no se venderá cerveza en los alrededores de los estadios durante el Mundial, dejando la venta solo en los “Fan Fest” de la FIFA.
“Tras las conversaciones mantenidas entre las autoridades del país organizador y la FIFA se ha tomado la decisión de centrar la venta de bebidas alcohólicas en el FIFA Fan Festival, otros lugares de encuentro de los hinchas y los locales que dispongan de licencia para ello, y eliminar los puntos de venta de cerveza del perímetro de los estadios de la Copa Mundial“, indica el comunicado.
Con respecto a las razones por las cuales tomaron esta decisión, no fueron aclaradas en el comunicado, sin embargo, ya hay entes que se han pronunciado al respecto como la asociación de aficionados ingleses (FSA).
“Algunos aficionados quieren tener una cerveza en el partido, otros no. Pero el verdadero asunto que este cambio ilustra es mucho mayor: la ausencia total de comunicación y de transparencia del comité de organización hacia los aficionados”, denunció la FSA.
El anuncio sobre el tema de la cerveza, ha generado todo tipo de cuestionamientos debido a que la marca de cerveza Budweiser es uno de los principales patrocinadores del Mundial, sin embargo, en el comunicado, agradecen al grupo AB InBev, del que forma parte Budweiser, por su “comprensión”, además, indicaron que ellos mantienen la posibilidad de vender cervezas sin alcohol alrededor y dentro de los estadios.
A pesar de que bien se sabe que en Catar la venta de alcohol es bastante regulada, en septiembre se había confirmado que los puestos de cerveza sí abrirían alrededor de los estadios tres horas antes del inicio del partido y que abrirían de nuevo durante una hora después de la finalización del juego.
