¡November rain! Lluvia de estrellas y eclipse, los increíbles fenómenos astronómicos de noviembre
Noviembre tendrá varios fenómenos astronómicos que podremos apreciar con sólo elevar nuestra mirada al cielo.
El penúltimo mes del año llega y no se quiere quedar atrás con todo lo que su cielo tiene para ofrecernos. Si dicen que octubre es el mes con las lunas más hermosas, noviembre le dice «con permiso, ya llegué», pues entre lluvias de estrellas y eclipse, está listo para traernos un espectáculo astronómico luminoso.

Lluvia de estrellas de las táuridas
Este será el primer espectáculo que el universo nos regalará y estarán en su brillo máximo la noche del 11 de noviembre y la mañana del 12. En ese momento aparecerán «bolas de fuego» en el firmamento, característica de este tipo de lluvia.
De acuerdo al sitio especializado, Muy Interesante, las táuridas son una lluvia de estrellas que ocurre cada año a mediados de octubre y noviembre y que se vuelven más intensas después de la medianoche. Son unos meteoritos que son conocidos como «bolas de fuego», los cuales acentúan su brillo con ayuda de la luz de la luna.
Lluvia de estrellas de las leónidas
Este fenómeno astronómico aparecerá en el cielo el 16 de noviembre y será la segunda lluvia de este mes de noviembre. De acuerdo a Milenio, este fenómeno ocurre con la misma intensidad cada 33 años y la actividad podría ser incluso más luminosa que la que registrará la lluvia de las táuridas.
La actividad de esta lluvia de estrellas de las leónidas, se deberá al cometa Tempel-Tuttle, que resulta cuando la Tierra cruza la órbita del cometa y se encuentra con el rastro que va dejando su polvo cometario.
