Hombre con traje medieval mata con arma blanca a dos personas en Quebec, Canadá
Hechos ocurrieron la noche de Halloween.
La policía de Quebec detuvo este domingo a un hombre acusado de asesinar a dos personas y herir a cinco con un arma blanca, en plena noche de Halloween.
Los hechos ocurrieron en la zona de la Asamblea Nacional de la ciudad canadiense de Quebec, según Radio-Canada, cuando el presunto responsable del ataque vestido con un atuendo medieval, armado con lo que parecía un cuchillo, atacó a las personas.
El sospechoso, de unos 20 años de edad, fue trasladado a un hospital y la policía aclaró que el crimen ‘’no está asociado a un grupo terrorista’’ que las autoridades están por determinarlo, pero se trata de un asunto de gravedad.
Aunque no se descarta que el ataque pudiera tener tintes personales, la policía pidió a los ciudadanos que se encuentran en el área ‘’que permanezcan en sus casas con las puertas cerradas’’ya que la investigación sigue.
La policía recibió el primer aviso sobre los apuñalamientos junto a la Asamblea Nacional poco antes de las 22:30 del sábado, dijo el vocero Etienne Doyon quien precisó que los cinco heridos fueron llevados a un hospital, y al parecer sus vidas no parecían correr peligro.
El primer ministro de Canadá, Justin Trudeau emitió un tuit en el que lamenta los hechos y expresa su apoyo a las víctimas de este ataque.

El diario Le Soleil de Québec informó que el responsable del ataque estaba tendido en el suelo, descalzo e hipotérmico cuando fue detenido y se entregó a las autoridades sin ninguna resistencia.
