Congreso plantea enseñar derechos animales a los niños desde la escuela en Argentina
El proyecto legislativo busca, además, crear un plan de esterilizaciones masivas y gratuitas en todo el país que fomenten la adopción en lugar de la compra.
La dura situación de los animales callejeros en Argentina alcanza un importante punto de inflexión tras la presentación de un proyecto parlamentario para impartir la enseñanza de los derechos animales a los niños desde la escuela.
El proyecto, redactado por el diputado Mario Arce Formosa de la Unión Cívica Radical, busca que los jóvenes tomen conciencia de lo que significa estar a cargo de un ser vivo y, de esa forma, disminuir la cantidad de mascotas que terminan sus días vagando por las calles.
Asimismo, el proyecto de ley “Presupuestos Mínimos de Protección Ambiental para la Fauna Urbana” (bajo Expediente 1813-D-2019) contempla además un plan de esterilizaciones masivas y gratuitas en todo el país.
“Reducir la población de perros y gatos en situación de calle, o abandonados, y eso tiene que ver tanto con la castración y la atención veterinaria como con la que llamamos tercera pata, la educación”, sostuvo Formosa en diálogo con Infobae.
Del mismo modo, la iniciativa descansa sobre los valores de respeto, no violencia y protección para la adopción y rescate como sistema de incorporación de animales al ámbito familiar.
El proyecto fue presentado durante el año legislativo 2019 en la Cámara de Diputados y girado a la Comisión de Legislación General, donde espera por un dictamen favorable para pasar a votación.
