COVID-19: Este es el reporte actualizado para hoy viernes
El cantón central de Alajuela es el que reporta la mayor cantidad de casos en las últimas horas.
Al 09 de octubre el país registra 1.225 casos nuevos de COVID-19, de los cuales 322 son por nexo epidemiológico y 903 por laboratorio, para un total de 86.053 casos confirmados, con un rango de edad de cero a 100 años. Se trata de 41.298 mujeres y 44.755 hombres, de los cuales 71.207 son costarricenses y 14.846 son extranjeros.
Por edad tenemos: 73.081 adultos, 5.830 adultos mayores y 7.057 menores de edad, 85 se encuentran en investigación.
Se contabilizan 52.327 personas recuperadas de las cuales 24.947 son mujeres y 27.380 son hombres, por edad tenemos: 44.774 adultos, 2.953 adultos mayores, 4.528 menores de edad y 72 se encuentran en investigación.
566 personas se encuentran hospitalizadas, 197 de ellas en cuidados intensivos con un rango de edad de uno a los 89 años.
Para hoy se reportan 15 lamentables fallecimientos: 11 hombres, y cuatro mujeres, con un rango de edad de 36 a 90 años.
En total se contabilizan 1055 decesos relacionados con COVID-19: 396 mujeres y 659 hombres, con un rango de edad de 18 a 100 años. Por edad son 353 adultos y 702 adultos mayores.
