Alimentación saludable en casa
Llevar unos hábitos de vida saludables nos fortalece para afrontar posibles contagios de enfermedades.
La pandemia mundial ocasionada por la COVID-19 ha hecho que pasemos mucho más tiempo en casa de lo que lo hacíamos antes, por ello debemos adaptar nuestros hábitos a las nuevas circunstancias. Llevar unos hábitos de vida saludables nos fortalece para afrontar posibles contagios de enfermedades.
Alimentación
En esta nueva situación en la que hacemos menos vida fuera de casa y contamos con más tiempo, son muchas las personas que se atreven a realizar nuevas recetas, ¡pero ojo! no todo se basa en hacer repostería.
Es buen momento para aprender a cocinar, dedicarle tiempo y planificar los menús semanales, buscar recetas que incorporen aquellos alimentos que no tomábamos habitualmente porque requerían más tiempo en su elaboración, etc.
Debemos ser prácticos y utilizar esta situación para revertir esta tendencia, aprendiendo a comer saludablemente, si no lo hacíamos ya.
Estas recomendaciones básicas podrán ayudarnos a conseguirlo:
Planificación de los menús
Es aconsejable dedicar un tiempo a pensar y anotar tanto las comidas como las cenas de la semana, sin olvidarnos de desayunos, meriendas y posibles tentempiés “saludables”.
Si no encontramos un producto concreto en pulperías o supermercados, siempre podemos buscar alternativas que resulten igualmente válidas.

Planificación de compra para varios días
Según la planificación de los menús, se elaboraría la lista de la compra, teniendo en cuenta que lo aconsejable es reducir las salidas para evitar el contacto con otras personas en sitios cerrados.
Si tenemos planificado el menú, con los platos e ingredientes necesarios, se reducirán las salidas, además de evitar caer en la tentación de comprar productos que no necesitamos. Con todo bien organizado conseguiremos disminuir el desperdicio de alimentos.
Al hacer la compra es mejor que vaya una sola persona, preferiblemente siempre la misma y que no sea de grupo de riesgo, manteniendo la distancia de seguridad, no tocarse la cara mientras se está comprando, no tocar los alimentos a granel sin la protección adecuada y mejor pagar con tarjeta.
Mantener unas rutinas de horarios con las comidas
El pasar más tiempo en casa puede llevarnos a modificar nuestros hábitos y nuestros horarios, retrasando la hora de las comidas, lo que puede llevarnos a picar y sentirnos en la tentación de recurrir a alimentos poco aconsejados como snacks tanto dulces como salados, bollería y dulces, refrescos azucarados y alimentos procesados, que es conveniente limitar.
En aquellos momentos entre horas en los que apetece comer algo se puede recurrir a alimentos como fruta, tomar un puñado de frutos secos crudos o tostados sin sal, un yogur natural, o ¿por qué no? de forma ocasional, una onza de chocolate negro.
Y no podemos olvidar de hidratarnos correctamente, acordarnos de beber agua, que sea nuestra bebida de elección y tomar infusiones, que podemos aromatizar con limón, menta, etc.
A veces comemos por aburrimiento, por ansiedad, lo que añadido a que nos movemos menos, trabajamos desde casa sentados, no podemos salir a hacer actividad física, puede llevarnos a aumentar de peso, con todos los problemas para la salud que supone.
