¡Lo lograron! Costa Rica registra hoy 10.372 pacientes recuperados de COVID-19
Los casos recuperados tienen un rango de edad de cero hasta los 96 años
Al 22 de agosto el país registra 10.372 personas recuperadas en 80 cantones. Los casos recuperados tienen un rango de edad de cero a los 96 años, de las cuales 4646 son mujeres y 5726 son hombres, por edad tenemos: 8529 adultos, 501 adultos mayores, 1280 menores de edad y 62 se encuentran en investigación.
De momento, el Ministerio de Salud trabaja en la actualización del registro de recuperados por COVID-19, esto debido al rezago de información que existe en las áreas de salud que agrupan la mayor cantidad de casos.
Al 1° de agosto se reportaba un 40% de rezago en la estadística de recuperados, concentrado principalmente, en la región Central Sur y la región Central Norte. Por lo que se trabaja en el fortalecimiento del trabajo en estas dos regiones y sus áreas con el fin de poner al día las cifras, lo cual significará reportes importantes de recuperados en las próximas semanas, producto de dicho esfuerzo.
“El trabajo de las áreas de salud que agrupan la mayor cantidad de casos COVID-19 ha estado enfocado en la prevención de contagios con el seguimiento a positivos y sospechosos, sin embargo, esperamos que los esfuerzos realizados en estas localidades permitan que pronto tengamos actualizaciones sustanciales del registro de recuperados” puntualizó el Ministro de Salud a.i, Pedro González.
Reporte COVID-19
Se contabilizan casos positivos en 82 cantones. Por edad tenemos: 27.816 adultos, 2063 adultos mayores y 3044 menores de edad, 161 se encuentran en investigación.
Se registran 950 casos nuevos de COVID-19, de los cuales 173 son por nexo epidemiológico y 777 por laboratorio, para un total de 33.084 casos confirmados, con un rango de edad de cero a 100 años. Se trata de 15.345 mujeres y 17.739 hombres, de los cuales 24.927 son costarricenses y 8157 son extranjeros.
386 personas se encuentran hospitalizadas, 131 de ellas en cuidados intensivos con un rango de edad de los uno a los 94 años.
Para hoy se reportan ocho lamentables fallecimientos: seis hombres, y dos mujeres, con un rango de edad de 51 a 97 años.
En total se contabilizan 348 fallecimientos relacionados con COVID-19: 129 mujeres y 219 hombres, con un rango de edad de 21 a 100 años.
