Costa Rica registra 31.075 casos confirmados de COVID-19 y solo 9939 recuperados
El Ministerio de Salud confirmó que tiene un rezago en la cantidad de pacientes recuperados.
Este jueves 20 de agosto, el país registró un total de 31.075 casos confirmados de COVID-19 y tan solo 9939 pacientes recuperados.
Según indicó el Ministerio de Salud días atrás, hay un rezago importante en la cantidad de pacientes recuperados y se trabaja en la actualización del registro de recuperados por COVID-19.
Al 1° de agosto se reportaba un 40% de rezago en la estadística de recuperados, concentrado principalmente, en la región Central Sur y la región Central Norte. Por lo que se trabaja en el fortalecimiento del trabajo en estas dos regiones y sus áreas con el fin de poner al día las cifras, lo cual significará reportes importantes de recuperados en las próximas semanas, producto de dicho esfuerzo.
‘’El trabajo de las áreas de salud que agrupan la mayor cantidad de casos COVID-19 ha estado enfocado en la prevención de contagios con el seguimiento a positivos y sospechosos, sin embargo, esperamos que los esfuerzos realizados en estas localidades permitan que pronto tengamos actualizaciones sustanciales del registro de recuperados’’, puntualizó el Ministro de Salud a.i, Pedro González.
