Bebé de cero años se encuentra hospitalizado en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos
El jueves se registró el ingreso de un niño de 12 años a la UCI y hoy un bebé de cero años.
Este sábado 15 de agosto durante la conferencia de prensa del reporte COVID-19, Pedro González – Viceministro de Salud, confirmó que un bebé de cero años se encuentra hospitalizado en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos (UCI).
Además del bebé, en la UCI se encuentran 104 personas en la UCI, con un rango de edad de los cero a los 85 años.
Reporte COVID-19
Hoy el país registra 806 casos nuevos de COVID-19, de los cuales 207 son por nexo epidemiológico y 599 por laboratorio, para un total de 27.737 casos confirmados, con un rango de edad de cero a 100 años. Se trata de 12.800 mujeres y 14.937 hombres, de los cuales 20.586 son costarricenses y 7151 son extranjeros.
Se contabilizan casos positivos en 82 cantones. Por edad tenemos: 23.147 adultos, 1759 adultos mayores y 2660 menores de edad, 171 se encuentran en investigación.
Se registran 9010 personas recuperadas en 80 cantones. Los casos recuperados tienen un rango de edad de cero a los 96 años, de las cuales 4047 son mujeres y 4963 son hombres, por edad tenemos: 7350 adultos, 409 adultos mayores, 1175 menores de edad y 76 se encuentran en investigación.
Para hoy se reportan 10 lamentables fallecimientos: cuatro hombres, y seis mujeres, con un rango de edad de 21 a 87 años, registrándose el deceso de la persona más joven relacionada con el COVID-19, se trata de una mujer de 21 años, costarricense, vecina de Guanacaste. Se encontraba hospitalizada en el Hospital México y fue diagnosticada el 31 de julio. Como padecimiento presentaba una aplasia medular severa que es la desaparición de las células encargadas de la producción de la sangre en la médula ósea.
En total se contabilizan 291 fallecimientos relacionados con COVID-19: 108 mujeres y 183 hombres, con un rango de edad de 21 a 100 años.
