Maduro afirma que Trump está «desesperado por votos» y por eso «lanza acusaciones sucias» contra Venezuela
El mandatario instruyó a su Ministro de Defensa, Vladimir Padrino López, para que responda «todas las mentiras asquerosas» que se dijeron en Florida contra Caracas
El presidente venezolano, Nicolás Maduro, repudió el hecho de que su par estadounidense, Donald Trump, asistiera este viernes a la sede del Comando Sur, en Florida, para lanzar «acusaciones sucias, inmundas y falsas» contra el país suramericano «y el honor de sus instituciones».
«El imperio norteamericano no cesa en sus ataques, sus mentiras, su campaña sucia. Escuchándolos recordé las mentiras que en el pasado se han lanzado contra Vietnam para invadirla, las mentiras sobre las supuestas armas de destrucción masiva en Irak para bombardearlos, ahora se repiten todos los días mentiras contra Venezuela», dijo Maduro, durante un acto de transmisión de mando del Ejército.

Asimismo, el mandatario de EE.UU. dijo que estas operaciones de vigilancia, ejecutadas con la colaboración de «socios regionales claves» como Colombia, ha llevado a «1.000 arrestos y a la incautación de 120 toneladas métricas de narcóticos, que costaban miles y miles de millones de dólares».
De igual forma, el presidente estadounidense aseguró que continuará «la lucha por Venezuela y Cuba», en clara alusión a las fuertes presiones políticas, económicas y financieras que aplica EE.UU. contra ambos países para tratar de deponer sus gobiernos. Hasta el momento, las medidas unilaterales contra Caracas le han causado pérdidas a la nación por el orden de los 100.000 millones de dólares.
«Saben que hemos estado haciendo eso, así como en otros muchos lugares. Pero Cuba y Venezuela lo tenemos perfectamente bajo control», dijo el republicano.
