Un campeón de la WWE confiesa haber sido ‘’drogado y violado’’ por una mujer
Keith Lee, actual campeón norteamericano de NXT, afirma que desde entonces ha intentado olvidar los hechos y que decidió compartir su historia para demostrar que «cualquiera puede ser víctima»
El luchador de la WWE, Keith Lee, confesó haber sido víctima de una violación hace unos años. Lee, de 35 años y 154 kilogramos de peso, compartió su experiencia a través de Twitter en el marco de la campaña #SpeakingOut, que busca sacar a la luz los casos de abuso sexual en la lucha libre.
En su publicación del pasado 24 junio, Lee detalló que, aunque no lo recuerda muy bien, el hecho ocurrió aproximadamente entre el 2016 y el 2017, luego de visitar un bar de karaoke en Texas. En ese lugar, una mujer joven se sentó en su mesa y le expresó su interés por él; aunque el estadounidense la rechazó cortésmente, aceptó tomar un par de cócteles que ella le ofreció. Lee cantó una canción y tras ir al baño regresó a la mesa, en donde lo esperaban los tragos; asegura que a partir de ahí todo se volvió «confuso» y solo recuerda «su lucha por volver al escenario y tropezar con un coche».

Las reacciones de apoyo al luchador no se hicieron esperar en las redes sociales. Sin embargo, un usuario aseguró que el caso de un «enorme tipo» no se compara con el «problema que enfrentan las mujeres» y lo acusó de distraer el tema real del debate y concentrarse en sí mismo. Al respecto Lee respondió: «¿Estás buscando detalles? Fui drogado y violado. Eso es todo lo que obtienes. Agresión es agresión. Como sea que venga, eso es lo que es».
