Bebé prematuro de 5 días dio negativo al COVID-19
Caso pudo ser un ‘’falso negativo’’.
Al 4 de junio se registran 37 nuevos casos de COVID-19, para un total de 1194 casos confirmados, con un rango de edad de cinco días a 89 años. Se trata de 561 mujeres y 633 hombres, de los cuales 940 son costarricenses y 254 extranjeros.
Se contabilizan casos positivos en 74 cantones. Por edad tenemos: 1017 adultos, 60 adultos mayores y 117 menores de edad.
Se registran 687 personas recuperadas en 65 cantones. Los casos recuperados tienen un rango de edad de uno a los 86 años, de las cuales 330 son mujeres y 357 son hombres, por edad tenemos: 619 adultos, 32 adultos mayores y 36 menores de edad.
Así mismo el doctor Mario Ruiz, Gerente de la Caja Costarricense del Seguro Social (CCSS) aseguró que Joshua, el bebé de 5 días que había sido diagnosticado con COVID-19 se le realizaron tres pruebas de control las cuales dieron negativo.
‘’Pudo ser un falso positivo. Se analiza el caso’’, dijo Ruiz.
El menor se mantiene en el hospital de Niños por su condición de prematuro (nació a las 27 semana )y su bajo peso (800 gramos).
