Traficantes talaron 80.000 árboles de área protegida en Colombia
Indignante. Cerca de 500 personas llegaron en buses, con elementos de construcción, para levantar edificaciones y viviendas en la zona, considerada uno de los pulmones del suroriente de Bogotá.
Traficantes de tierras talaron cerca de 80.000 árboles ubicados en el parque ecológico Entrenubes, considerado como el pulmón del suroriente de Bogotá, Colombia.
El último domingo, un grupo de 500 personas llegaron en buses a ubicarse dentro de la zona ecológica, según informó El Tiempo.
Cuando las autoridades se percataron de la situación, intervinieron con apoyo de la Alcaldía local, Integración Social, Hábitat, ICBF y otras entidades para evitar la invasión y concertar con la ciudadanía.
“Es indignante lo que está pasando en Entrenubes. Los tierreros están ofreciendo protección y suelo dentro de las áreas protegidas que son patrimonio ambiental de todos los ciudadanos. Además, están poniendo en riesgo su vida mientras talan y queman los recursos naturales”, afirmó la secretaria de Ambiente, Carolina Urrutia.
Este martes, la Secretaría de Seguridad señaló que, pese al desalojo, cerca de 80 personas fueron encontradas nuevamente en este parque realizando quemas y talando árboles, con el fin de apropiarse de estos terrenos que, según la Policía, son vendidos de manera ilegal a ciudadanos de escasos recursos con la promesa de que allí pueden construir sus viviendas.
Ante la intervención policial y de la Fiscalía, nueve personas quedaron detenidas y serán puestas a disposición de las autoridades para que, de acuerdo con las investigaciones, sea un juez quien determine la sanción por afectar el medio ambiente.
