En Bélgica una mujer recibe una polémica condena al matar a su hija con cáncer
Uno de los jueces sostuvo que ha sido “el juicio más pesado y difícil” de su carrera.
En Bélgica, una neurocirujana, identificada como Mehrnaz Didgar de 51 años, recibió una polémica condena tras asfixiar a su propia hija con una bolsa de plástico.
La mujer fue sentenciada a cinco años de cárcel suspendida por el delito que cometió contra la joven de 14 años. Ella aseveró que la menor pidió, en reiteradas oportunidades, morir.
A pesar que la Fiscalía solicitó 26 años de prisión efectiva contra Didgar, decidieron darle prisión suspendida.
La víctima padecía de cáncer de tiroides desde que tenía siete años y según informó Daily Mirror, ella se encontraba deprimida por la enfermedad.
La mujer llamó a uno de sus amigos para comentarle el delito que hizo, por lo que el hombre se comunicó con los agentes policiales. La asesina huyó en su auto, pero las autoridades la capturó al notar el carro de la criminal en una carretera con llantas ponchadas.
El padre de la joven fallecida, Steven Pans, precisó que el estado de salud de la muchacha estaba mejorando. Además, aseguró que ella nunca quería matarse a pesar del cáncer que tenía.
