Anciano pide que no despidan a policía que lo agredió mientras vendía dulces en Colombia
Néstor Novoa, de 70 años, expresó preocupación por la posibilidad de que el efectivo que lo maltrató sea sancionado, pues dice que necesita trabajo.
Don Néstor Novoa, el anciano que fue agredido por un grupo de policías cuando intentaba vender dulces en una calle de Bogotá, Colombia, durante la cuarentena asegura no guardar rencor a los responsables y espera que no sean despedidos. El comandante del cuerpo policial acudió a pedirle disculpas en nombre de su institución.
El hombre de 70 años de edad comentó las dificultades económicas que lo llevaron a volverse vendedor ambulante. “Yo se que soy mayor de edad, pero la cuestión económica me obligó, prácticamente no recibía apoyo de ninguna institución”, indicó.
No obstante, el hombre también manifestó que no siente rencor alguno por el hecho y pidió que el agente responsable de la agresión no sea despedido ni sancionado, pues necesita sustento para mantener a su familia. “Todos cometemos errores en esta vida”, dijo.
El comandante de la Policía Metropolitana de Bogotá, general Óscar Gómez Heredia, acudió personalmente a ofrecer sus disculpas al anciano en nombre de su institución por el incidente.
