Según la NASA, Venus pudo haber tenido vida durante 3 mil millones de años
Esa es la hipótesis de los científicos del Instituto Goddard de Estudios Espaciales del organismo de Estados Unidos.
La hipótesis, a la cual llegaron los científicos Michael J. Way y Anthony D. Del Genio del equipo de investigaciones de la NASA, está basada en la comparación entre las condiciones que tenía el planeta Venus hace cuatro mil millones de años con las que presenta la Tierra en la actualidad.
Con lo cual, se podría decir que se trata de planetas hermanos, pues en ambos se pudo albergar vida de un modo similar.
La concentración de agua, en una proporción similar a la de nuestro planeta, es uno de los factores que avalan esta hipótesis.
Luego, distintos períodos de calor extremo y fríos gélidos y la activación simultánea de sus volcanes cambiaron las drásticamente las condiciones.
Nuevos datos que sorprenden y movilizan hasta a los más escépticos en estas cuestiones.
