Sospechoso de COVID-19 intentó fugarse usando sábanas y terminó muriendo en Colombia
El hombre de 50 años, además de presentar síntomas similares al coronavirus, padecía de hipertensión, diabetes e insuficiencia renal crónica.
Un hombre tuvo un trágico final luego que decidiera huir de un centro médico. El hecho sucedió en un hospital de Villavicencio, Colombia. El paciente, que era sospechoso por COVID-19, decidió abandonar la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos; sin embargo, terminó muriendo en el intento.
De acuerdo a la información del propio centro médico, el individuo de 50 años de edad, se encontraba hospitalizado en UCI por una historia clínica de hipertensión, diabetes e insuficiencia renal crónica, además, de ser sospechoso de portar el nuevo coronavirus.
La habitación donde se encontraba el hombre estaba ubicada en el tercer piso del hospital. Mientras descendía por las sábanas, no pudo sujetarse bien, por lo que terminó cayendo de manera accidental. “El sujeto cayó y fue auxiliado por el servicio de urgencias, quienes lo trasladaron de inmediato a la sala de reanimación donde a pesar de las medidas instauradas, el paciente fallece”, señaló el comunicado del centro médico.
El medio El Pregonar de Colombia, indicó que presentaba síntomas relacionados al virus, además de mostrar neumonía basal derecha, por lo que fue considerado como probable portador de la COVID-19. Tras confirmar el deceso, los funcionarios avisaron a las autoridades, quienes iniciaron con las investigaciones correspondientes para determinar las causas que habrían llevado a que esta persona quiera escapar.
