Doctores dan la espalda a la primera ministra de Bélgica en señal de protesta por la gestión del covid-19
El país registra uno de los mayores índices de mortalidad por coronavirus en Europa
Cuando este sábado la primera ministra de Bélgica, Sophie Wilmès, se disponía a visitar el hospital Saint-Pierre en Bruselas, se encontró con una inesperada protesta silenciosa por parte del personal sanitario, informa The Brussels Times.
A medida que el automóvil oficial de Wilmès se iba acercando a las instalaciones, médicos y enfermeras formados en una doble hilera a ambos lados de la carretera se fueron girando hasta quedar de espaldas a él.

Bélgica es uno de los países europeos con mayor indice de mortalidad en el continente por covid-19, con 78 decesos por cada 100.000 habitantes. Hasta este domingo se han registrado más de 9.000 fallecimientos, mientras que los contagios se han elevado a 55.280, según datos de la Universidad Johns Hopkins.
