Niña argentina muere después que el médico la mandara al psicólogo por “exagerada”
La pequeña de 11 años falleció tras sufrir por varios días fiebre y fuertes dolores en el cuerpo.
El tormento comenzó el 26 de abril, cuando la abuela de Shaira la llevó al hospital de San Cayetano, en Argentina, con 41 grados de fiebre y dolor en todo el cuerpo. La familia denunció que los médicos minimizaron sus síntomas y la mandaron al psicólogo por “exagerada”.
La pequeña de 11 años murió después de cinco días de agonía. Aunque aún se desconoce el resultado de la autopsia, los desconsolados padres sostienen que su hija murió producto de una infección generalizada y negligencia médica.
La abuela contó que cuando su nieta ingresó al hospital de emergencia le practicaron exámenes de laboratorio, en cuyos resultados salieron 20.000 glóbulos blancos en sangre. Por eso, le mandaron un antiparasitario.
“El médico Rodríguez nos recetó un antiparasitario. Después nos mandó a la casa porque solo eran parásitos para él”, contó a Minuto Uno.
El jueves 30 de abril regresó a su casa por orden médica aunque la fiebre persistía. Esa madrugada, los padres de Shaira la llevaron nuevamente al hospital. “Mi hija le pidió a la enfermera que la acompañe al baño y el doctor la mandó a una psicóloga porque insistía en que era ‘exagerada’”.
El viernes 1 de abril, el cuerpo de Shaira no resistió y falleció después de desearle un feliz cumpleaños a su papá. “Salió el pediatra y nos dice: ‘a mí me duele más que a ustedes’. [Eso] nos dijo el cínico”, relató Soledad.
Tras la extraña muerte de la pequeña, los pobladores de San Cayetano rompieron la cuarentena para reclamar justicia. El alcalde Miguel Gargaglione se reunió con la familia y lamentó lo sucedido a través de las redes sociales.
“Acompaño en el dolor a la familia Smoulenar-Torres”, dijo. Además, se comprometió a colaborar “en la investigación sobre las causas de tal fatal acontecimiento”.
