Miles de personas salen a las calles en su día de apertura.
Desde muy temprano, el perímetro enrejado de las 125 hectáreas del parque de El Retiro, uno de los favoritos en Madrid, se pobló este sábado de corredores y ciclistas.
Por primera vez en 48 días de cuarentena, los españoles pueden salir de casa a partir de este sábado. Una vez al día y respetando los horarios establecidos según las edades para evitar los contagios mientras el coronavirus todavía acecha.
En Madrid, la mayoría eligió calzarse las zapatillas y los auriculares y salir a correr o a andar en bicicleta. En estos casos está permitido alejarse más de un kilometro de casa pero sin salir del propio municipio.
Las salidas permitidas para el resto de la población contempla que los mayores de 70 y aquellas personas que necesiten salir acompañadas, pueden, a partir de este sábado, dar una vuelta entre las 10 y las 12 y, a la tarde, entre las 19 y las 20.
Muchos madrileños pedían la apertura de los espacios verdes pero el alcalde de la ciudad, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, no cedió.
“La decisión es mantener los parques y jardines cerrados. Porque la pandemia no está vencida, porque no podemos bajar la guardia -dijo el alcalde-. Porque se están dando pequeños pasos en ese proceso de desescalamiento. Pero todavía hay riesgos. Tenemos que evitar las aglomeraciones. Hemos pasado lo peor pero no queremos volver a pasar lo que desgraciadamente ha sucedido en la ciudad de Madrid.”
Madrid es la comunidad española que más padece la epidemia. Desde que se declaró la emergencia sanitaria por el Covid-19 murieron aquí más de 8.000 personas.
En España, los contagios por coronavirus siguen descendiendo. Aunque el total de muertos supera los 25.000, en las últimas 24 horas fallecieron 276 personas.
En algunos barrios de la capital, aumentó la desinfección que los camiones de Medio Ambiente del Ayuntamiento realizan a diario rociando las veredas y los cordones con agua y lavandina.
En Barcelona, el Paseo Marítimo también se pobló de runners, bicicletas, skaters y rollers.
“Salí finalmente de casa y corrí hacia el mar para respirar el aire fresco -decía una vecina de la Barceloneta-. Estoy atenta a mantener las distancias pero es difícil. Están todos aquí, como yo.”
