Bill Gates estima cuándo volverá a la normalidad el mundo tras la pandemia de coronavirus

En una entrevista concedida al periódico francés Le Figaro, el multimillonario y filántropo estadounidense Bill Gates ha sugerido cuándo podría volver a la normalidad el mundo después de la pandemia de coronavirus.
Según el fundador de Microsoft, la sociedad necesitará de uno a dos años para superar por completo todas las consecuencias de la propagación del SARS-CoV-2. Para salir de la primera etapa de la pandemia, es necesario construir un sistema de actividades que elimine el riesgo de un retorno a la fase exponencial de la progresión de la infección, señaló Gates.
«Incluso las decisiones de las autoridades no los devolverán a los estadios hasta que se pruebe que el tratamiento o la vacunación pueden prevenir la muerte», sostuvo Gates.
El paso principal hacia un retorno a la vida normal será el desarrollo de métodos de tratamiento extremadamente efectivos o de una vacuna, apuntó el filántropo, recordando que la Fundación Bill y Melinda Gates está involucrada en ese proceso.
