En hospitales de Wuhan ya no hay pacientes con COVID-19
La información fue confirmada por las autoridades sanitarias de China, quienes aseveraron que el último fallecimiento a causa del nuevo coronavirus se reportó el pasado 14 de abril.
Los pacientes que fueron diagnosticados e ingresados con COVID-19 a los hospitales de Wuhan fueron dados de alta, informó este domingo, el portavoz de la Comisión Nacional de Salud, Mi Feng.
Wuhan es la ciudad china donde ser originó el brote del nuevo coronavirus y, desde entonces, las autoridades de ese país han informado sobre los avances que han tenido para contener los contagios.
El último viernes, China no contabilizó muerte a causa del coronavirus y quedó registrado como el noveno día consecutivo sin fallecidos por la enfermedad.
La última persona víctima del virus, según datos oficiales, murió el 14 de abril, lo que fue informado al día siguiente. A partir de ese momento, el total de decesos por COVID-19 en el gigante asiático se ha mantenido en 4.636, de acuerdo al registro de la Universidad Johns Hopkins de las últimas 24 horas.
Sin embargo, los números presentados por el gigante asiático han generado críticas a nivel mundial. El presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump ha expresado abiertamente que el balance real de casos de coronavirus en China es “mucho mayor”.
“China acaba de anunciar una duplicación en el número de sus muertes por el ‘Enemigo invisible’. ¡Es mucho mayor que eso y mucho mayor que el de Estados Unidos, no está siquiera cerca!”, escribió el mandatario en Twitter en días pasados.
