Costa Rica: el tercer país menos corrupto de Latinoamérica
Costa Rica logró posicionarse en el tercer lugar de América Latina en el Índice de Percepción de la Corrupción 2023, elaborado por Transparencia Internacional.
Con una puntuación de 55, el país mejoró su posición global al ocupar el puesto 45 de 180 países evaluados, avanzando respecto al lugar 48 que obtuvo en 2022.
Este índice mide la percepción de corrupción en el sector público en una escala de 0 (muy corrupto) a 100 (menos corrupto).
Uruguay y Chile lideran en la región latinoamericana, mientras que Venezuela presenta los mayores niveles de corrupción con 13 puntos.
En América, Canadá se ubica en el primer lugar con 74 puntos.
Los países menos corruptos del mundo son: Dinamarca (90), Finlandia(87) y Nueva Zelanda (87), mientras que Sudán del Sur (13), Siria (13) y Somalia (12) fueron calificados como los más corruptos.
