Reclutamiento de Menores por Bandas Criminales: El Precio de un Par de Tenis o un Celular
Las organizaciones criminales están utilizando tácticas cada vez más alarmantes para atraer a menores de edad, según alerta la Policía Judicial. Los adolescentes, especialmente entre 12 y 15 años, son captados a cambio de objetos como teléfonos celulares o zapatos de marca, y una vez dentro, son tratados como desechables. Las bandas criminales no dudan en sustituir a un menor por otro si es arrestado o incluso asesinarlo si se vuelve una amenaza.
Señales de Alerta para los Padres
El Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ), a través de su sección Penal Juvenil, ha advertido que muchos padres no se percatan de la implicación de sus hijos en estas organizaciones delictivas. Los agentes señalan que una señal de alerta es cuando los menores adquieren bienes costosos sin una fuente clara de ingresos, como tenis de marca o dispositivos electrónicos. Esto puede ser una señal de que han sido reclutados por bandas delictivas, que los utilizan para llevar a cabo tareas peligrosas como la venta de drogas o incluso cometer asesinatos.
El Reclutamiento y Su Final Violento
El incremento de niños y adolescentes involucrados en estas actividades ilegales ha sido preocupante. Las bandas criminales los ven como peones desechables, sin importar su bienestar ni futuro. Los menores son vulnerables ante la oferta de bienes materiales, y una vez atrapados en estas redes, la violencia se convierte en una constante. Las autoridades han revelado que en algunos casos, cuando un menor es detenido, las órdenes de matarlo llegan inmediatamente, una señal de lo desechables que son considerados por estas organizaciones.
El Llamado de las Autoridades
Ante esta preocupante realidad, las autoridades piden a los padres y tutores que presten atención a cualquier cambio en el comportamiento de sus hijos, especialmente si de repente empiezan a poseer artículos de lujo sin explicación. La Policía Judicial insta a la comunidad a estar vigilante y a educar a los jóvenes sobre los riesgos de involucrarse en actividades delictivas, ya que una vez dentro, el camino hacia la salida puede ser letal.
