Costa Rica mantiene esperanzas tras empate en el Mundial de Futsal
La Selección de Futsal de Costa Rica sigue viva en su sueño de avanzar a la siguiente fase del Mundial, celebrado en Uzbekistán, después de obtener un valioso empate 2-2 contra los Países Bajos. Este resultado mantiene abiertas las posibilidades para el equipo nacional de avanzar a la siguiente ronda.
El enfrentamiento, realizado a primera hora de este martes, comenzó con una ventaja para la Tricolor gracias a un autogol de Tevfik Ceyar. Sin embargo, la ventaja fue efímera, ya que los neerlandeses, con goles de Said Bouzambou e Ismail Ouaddouh, tomaron el control del partido.
A pesar de los desafíos, Costa Rica no se dio por vencida. Yosel León logró empatar el encuentro, manteniendo vivas las esperanzas del equipo. En los minutos finales, los Países Bajos intentaron asegurar la victoria con una táctica arriesgada de portero adelantado, pero el arquero costarricense César Vargas casi convierte un gol desde su área, aunque el remate se fue desviado.
Este empate le otorga a Costa Rica su primer punto en el torneo, tras una derrota inicial frente a Paraguay por 5-2. Aún existe la posibilidad de que el equipo avance a la siguiente fase, ya sea como uno de los mejores terceros o incluso en el segundo lugar de su grupo, dependiendo de los resultados de los otros partidos.
El próximo desafío para la Selección será este viernes, cuando enfrente a los anfitriones del torneo. El partido se jugará a las 9 a.m. hora local, ofreciendo una última oportunidad para que el equipo patrio asegure su lugar en la siguiente etapa del Mundial.
