Legionarios costarricenses brillan en el extranjero con goles y grandes actuaciones
Este fin de semana, varios futbolistas costarricenses dejaron huella en sus ligas alrededor del mundo con impresionantes goles y sólidas actuaciones. Entre los más destacados se encuentra Anthony Contreras, quien marcó dos veces en Letonia, así como Manfred Ugalde en Rusia y Mayron George en Israel, quienes también anotaron para sus respectivos equipos.
En Letonia, Anthony Contreras jugó los 90 minutos completos y logró anotar un doblete en el empate 2-2 de su equipo frente al FK Auda. Mientras tanto, en Rusia, Manfred Ugalde fue titular y contribuyó con un gol en el empate 1-1 entre el Spartak y el Makhachkala, siendo uno de los jugadores más influyentes de su equipo.
Mayron George, quien juega en Israel, también tuvo una actuación destacada, al anotar un gol en la victoria de 2-0 ante Netanya, disputando 62 minutos del encuentro.
Otros costarricenses en acción también dejaron su marca en diferentes ligas. En Portugal, Patrick Sequeira fue titular durante todo el partido en el triunfo de Casa Pía 3-1 ante Moreirense, mientras que Roan Wilson fue clave en la victoria del Desportivo Chaves 1-2 sobre Felgueiras.
En Grecia, Christopher Núñez fue titular en el empate sin goles de Lamia ante Athens Kallithea, y en Escocia, Kenneth Vargas jugó 71 minutos en la derrota 2-0 del Hearts frente al Celtic.
No todos tuvieron minutos de juego, como fue el caso de Warren Madrigal, quien estuvo en el banco de suplentes durante la derrota del Valencia 0-3 ante el Atlético de Madrid en España, y Jeyland Mitchell, que aún no debuta con el Feyenoord en Países Bajos.
En Estados Unidos, Ariel Lassiter destacó como titular en la victoria 2-1 del Chicago Fire sobre New York Red Bull, y Alonso Martínez jugó desde el inicio en el empate 1-1 del New York City ante DC United.
Finalmente, en Luxemburgo, Néstor Monge anotó en la victoria del Racing por 2-4 frente al Dudelange, consolidándose como una pieza clave de su equipo.
