Inesperado final: Alias «Jamaica» muere tras altercado con menor en San Carlos
Un hombre identificado como Yerlin José Salinas Amador, conocido como «Jamaica», falleció el viernes por la tarde tras un enfrentamiento con un menor de edad en la comunidad de Pital de San Carlos. Según informaron las autoridades, el incidente ocurrió aproximadamente a las 1:50 p.m., en el barrio Nuevo Pital.
Los informes preliminares indican que la confrontación se produjo entre Salinas, de 26 años, y un joven de 17 años. Durante el altercado, Salinas habría empujado al menor, provocando que este cayera por un guindo. El joven explicó a las autoridades que, tras lograr subir nuevamente, encontró a «Jamaica» tendido boca abajo sobre una cerca de alambre de púas.
El menor, visiblemente alterado, acudió de inmediato a solicitar ayuda llamando al 9-1-1. Minutos después, socorristas de la Cruz Roja llegaron al lugar, donde declararon el fallecimiento de Salinas.
Las circunstancias exactas de la muerte aún están bajo investigación, y de momento, la causa no ha sido determinada. El menor implicado fue puesto bajo custodia de la Fuerza Pública mientras el Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) lleva a cabo las pesquisas necesarias y se encarga del levantamiento del cuerpo.
Salinas, de nacionalidad nicaragüense, era el segundo de cinco hermanos y tenía un historial de antecedentes relacionados con delitos como asaltos, robos y venta de drogas.
