Papá de Matheo: “Le pedí a Dios que me lo devolviera, que no me lo quitara”
Greivin Lobo, padre de Matheo, el valiente niño de seis años que fue encontrado con vida tras 15 horas de angustiosa búsqueda en las montañas de Santa Lucía en Páramo de Pérez Zeledón, compartió con Extra Noticias el drama vivido durante las horas de intensas labores de rescate.
“Había momentos de flaqueza donde uno decía ‘será que lo voy a perder, será que lo perdí’, después le pedí a Dios, rezaba, y le pedía a Dios que me lo devolviera, que no me lo quitara”, comentó Lobo.
El padre del niño contó cómo recibió la noticia del rescate de su hijo.
“Fue lo mejor que me pudo pasar… Estaba super contento, pero a la vez yo me acuerdo que lo abracé, y después me dijeron que no lo abrazara muy fuerte por el tema de las posibles heridas”, relató al noticiero de Extra.
Afortunadamente, Matheo, que presentó algunos golpes en la cabeza y la cadera, se encuentra en estado estable y será observado durante las próximas 24 horas para asegurar su completa recuperación.
Contexto
El jueves por la tarde, la vida del pequeño Matheo cambió drásticamente cuando el vehículo que conducía su madre, Yendry Castro, de 34 años, se salió de la carretera y se precipitó por un barranco de 40 metros en Páramo de Pérez Zeledón. El trágico accidente resultó en la muerte de Castro y dejó a Matheo en un terreno montañoso inhóspito.
Ante la noticia del accidente, la Cruz Roja organizó un amplio operativo de búsqueda, utilizando drones, perros de rastreo y equipos especializados que viajaron desde San José para ayudar en la misión.
Tras más de 12 horas de búsqueda infructuosa, la mañana de este viernes trajo buenas noticias: a las 7 a.m., Matheo fue encontrado a dos kilómetros del lugar del accidente. El niño había pasado la noche en la montaña y, guiado por el amanecer, se dirigió hasta el margen de un río donde fue hallado por los rescatistas.
El padre de Matheo vivió momentos de desesperación, pero el milagroso hallazgo de su hijo brinda una luz de esperanza en medio de la tragedia. Los equipos de rescate lograron llevar al niño a un lugar seguro y están monitoreando su condición para garantizar su completa recuperación.
