¡Tómelo en cuenta! Lluvias se mantendrán durante la noche de este viernes
El Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) informó que condiciones atmosféricas inestables, debido a la cercanía de la Zona de Convergencia Intertropical y altos niveles de humedad, continúan afectando el país, con lluvias y tormentas eléctricas en varias regiones.
Pronóstico
Durante el resto de la noche se espera que continúen estas condiciones, favoreciendo la ocurrencia de lluvias de variable intensidad acompañadas de tormenta.
En la península de Nicoya, Pacífico Central y Pacífico Sur, se esperan aguaceros con tormenta
eléctrica con acumulados estimados entre 20 mm y 50 mm, con máximos entre 50 mm y 80 mm
en periodos de 6-12 horas.
En el Valle Central y montañas del Caribe se esperan lluvias de variable intensidad con tendencia a disminuir en las primeras horas de la noche. Los acumulados estimados se encuentran entre 10 mm y 30 mm, con máximos acumulados entre 30 mm y 50 mm en periodos de 6-12 horas.
En la Zona Norte se pueden presentar aguaceros fuertes de manera localizada, principalmente
en zonas montañosas y alrededores. Los acumulados estimados se encuentran entre 30 mm y
50 mm, con máximos acumulados entre 50 mm y 70 mm en periodos de 6-12 horas.
Además, se anticipa el paso de la onda tropical número 21 durante el próximo sábado, lo que podría intensificar las precipitaciones en todo el país durante la noche.
Advertencias
Las montañas de la Zona Norte y Caribe Norte están en riesgo de deslizamientos debido a la alta saturación de los suelos, así como posibles desbordamientos de ríos en zonas montañosas.
En la vertiente del Pacífico, se recomienda prestar atención en ambas penínsulas debido a los elevados niveles de saturación del suelo.
En zonas urbanas, hay riesgo de inundaciones por saturación de alcantarillado.

Precaución en áreas propensas a inundaciones por alcantarillado saturado.
Prevención ante tormentas eléctricas; buscar refugio seguro en caso de tormenta o vientos fuertes cerca de nubes de tormenta, ya que estas ráfagas podrían alcanzar hasta 80 km/h y causar la caída de ramas de árboles o tendidos eléctricos.
