Investigación en Marcha: Allanamiento por Atropello a Adulta Mayor en Grecia
Esta mañana, agentes del OIJ de Grecia llevaron a cabo un allanamiento en una vivienda ubicada en Carrillos Alto de Poás, Alajuela. Esta intervención se relaciona con un incidente ocurrido el pasado 2 de junio en Tacares de Grecia, donde una anciana fue atropellada por un ciclista, quien luego se dio a la fuga sin prestarle ayuda.
El propósito de esta operación policial es obtener evidencia fotográfica de la ropa y el calzado del sospechoso, así como realizar una inspección detallada de la bicicleta involucrada en el accidente. Según el informe, el ciclista abandonó a la víctima en el lugar con varias lesiones, lo que ha generado gran indignación en la comunidad.

En Costa Rica, la normativa de tránsito es clara: los peatones tienen prioridad en los pasos peatonales. Esto significa que tanto conductores como ciclistas deben ceder el paso a los peatones en estos cruces, especialmente en áreas sin semáforos ni señalización específica. La acción del ciclista no solo fue una grave falta de sensibilidad, sino que también constituye una violación de la ley.
