¡Alerta Meteorológica! Evento extremo de lluvia golpeará a Costa Rica este fin de semana
Se avecina un fin de semana complicado para el país debido a un evento extremo de lluvias que afectará gran parte del territorio. Las autoridades han emitido una alerta urgente ante la llegada de las ondas tropicales #8 y #9, que incrementarán significativamente las precipitaciones desde este jueves.
Aguaceros Intensos en el Horizonte
El Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN) ha informado que, a partir de este jueves, se espera un aumento en las lluvias debido al paso de la onda tropical #8. Esta situación se agravará con la llegada de la onda tropical #9 el viernes, seguida de otro fenómeno meteorológico que se está monitoreando de cerca y que se prevé traerá lluvias extremas durante el viernes y sábado.
Vulnerabilidad y Preparación
La alerta más alta se ha emitido para el Valle Central y toda la vertiente del Pacífico, que se encuentran en alerta naranja. Estas áreas son particularmente propensas a inundaciones y deslizamientos, lo que requiere de una mayor precaución por parte de los residentes. Con suelos ya saturados en varias partes del país, incluso precipitaciones moderadas pueden causar inundaciones severas.
Recomendaciones a la Población
Las autoridades piden a la población mantenerse informada a través de los canales oficiales del IMN y seguir todas las recomendaciones de seguridad. Se insta a quienes viven en zonas propensas a deslizamientos o inundaciones a tomar medidas preventivas inmediatas.
