Guardas de seguridad privada denuncian retrasos salariales de hasta 45 días
Un grupo de oficiales de seguridad privada alzó la voz para denunciar el incumplimiento en el pago de sus salarios, afirmando que llevan hasta 45 días sin recibir sus ingresos.
La situación afecta gravemente a sus familias y su capacidad para cubrir necesidades básicas, y se agrava con amenazas de veto en el sector si abandonan sus puestos.
Uno de los denunciantes, un extrabajador de la empresa que prefirió mantener su identidad protegida, explicó a Noticias Telediario: “Es injusto que ellos vengan a trabajar incluso hasta pidiendo prestado para los pases. La familia pasa necesidades pagando alquiler y no se les hace el pago correspondiente del salario, lo cual pienso yo que es ilegal. Nadie puede tocar tu salario y llevan hasta tres quincenas sin recibir nada, solo pagos de 20 mil o 30 mil colones”
“Es una injusticia porque ellos nunca faltan, vienen y ponen la cara. Los amenazan de que si dejan el puesto botado los vetan de seguridad privada, lo que significa que ya no pueden trabajar en el sector”, agregó.
Este extrabajador dejó de trabajar en 2022 y nunca recibió su liquidación, lo que añade más gravedad a la denuncia. Los guardas que aún están en la empresa afirman que sobreviven a duras penas, haciendo frente a sus gastos mediante deudas.
“Nos urge, yo tengo 8 meses de trabajar para la empresa y siempre es lo mismo. No nos pagan cuando nos tienen que pagar y no pagan las extras”, denunció otra trabajadora, quien también prefirió no revelar su identidad. Además, menciona que no reciben pago por feriados ni viáticos.
Abraham Bonilla, representante de la empresa de seguridad, declaró al noticiero de canal 8 que las acusaciones y señalamientos son falsos. Sin embargo, las quejas de los guardias persisten, resaltando una problemática que parece ser recurrente.
La situación de estos trabajadores pone de manifiesto la precariedad y las injusticias que enfrentan en su ámbito laboral, evidenciando la necesidad de una mayor supervisión y regulación en el sector de la seguridad privada. La comunidad y las autoridades están atentas a cómo se resolverá este conflicto, esperando que se garantice el respeto a los derechos laborales de los guardias afectados.
