Iglesia Convoca a Multitudinarias Jornadas de Oración por Víctimas de Abuso Sexual
La Iglesia Católica en Costa Rica ha lanzado un llamado de acción en respuesta a una preocupación de suma importancia: el abuso sexual. La Conferencia Episcopal de Costa Rica (Cecor) ha anunciado que la Comisión Nacional de Prevención de Abusos y Protección a Menores y Adultos en Vulnerabilidad (Conaprome) llevará a cabo la IV Jornada Nacional de Oración por las víctimas de abuso espiritual, de poder y sexual.
Este evento, programado para el próximo sábado, se desarrollará en todas las diócesis del país. Se llevarán a cabo diversas actividades litúrgicas, como Eucaristías, Horas Santas y vigilias, todas enfocadas en orar por las víctimas de abuso y aquellos que se han visto afectados de manera secundaria.
«Ningún esfuerzo será suficiente hasta que podamos erradicar este mal que ha penetrado en la Iglesia y en la sociedad», expresó Monseñor Garita. Este llamado a la acción refleja el compromiso de la Iglesia Católica en Costa Rica por enfrentar y abordar de manera activa el problema del abuso sexual y proteger a aquellos que son más vulnerables en la sociedad.
