Operativos del OIJ desbaratan red vinculada a robos multimillonarios a transportistas
En una operación de alto calibre, el Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) logró desarticular una peligrosa banda dedicada a realizar robos millonarios a transportistas, reveló el director de la entidad, Randall Zúñiga, en una conferencia de prensa celebrada esta mañana.
El operativo ha culminado con la detención de seis integrantes de este grupo delictivo, aunque las autoridades continúan tras la pista de otros seis sospechosos que formarían parte de la organización criminal.
El director del OIJ también detalló que entre la mercancía sustraída se encuentran productos de higiene personal, tales como toallas, papel, refrescos e incluso abono.
Los esfuerzos del órgano judicial se concentraron en las localidades de Atenas, Palmares, Alajuela y Desamparados, donde se ejecutaron ocho allanamientos durante la jornada de hoy.
Los detenidos serán puestos a disposición del Ministerio Público junto con un informe detallado para determinar su situación jurídica.
