Convocan a marcha para exigir la destitución de la presidenta de la CCSS, Marta Esquivel
El movimiento se realizará el próximo 24 de abril.
El próximo miércoles 24 de abril diferentes organizaciones sindicales lideradas por la Unión Nacional de Empleados de la Caja y la Seguridad Social (Undeca) y el Sindicato de Trabajadores del Poder Judicial (Sitrajud) agrupadas bajo el Frente Nacional de Lucha (FNL) realizarán una marcha en la capital, saliendo del Parque La Merced a las 9:00 a.m.
Según informó Telenoticias, dentro de las razones del movimiento está exigir la destitución de la presidenta ejecutiva de la Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS), Marta Esquivel, así como el fin de los cortes de agua que han afectado a distintas comunidades del país.
Otras de las peticiones son:
Defensa del modelo de la salud pública como parte de nuestro modelo de seguridad social.
Suministro de agua potable para el consumo diario, en cantidad y calidad adecuadas, y sin recortes, para todas las comunidades del país.
Protección de los ríos, acuíferos y ecosistemas, que son la base de la civilización humana, “de los poderosos intereses y redes de especulación financiera que los secan y contaminan”.
Cumplimiento constitucional del 8 % anual del producto interno bruto (PIB) para la educación y el mejoramiento de las condiciones laborales de los trabajadores del Ministerio de Educación Pública (MEP).
Rechazo a la privatización del Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje (INA) y a la tercerización de servicios en la educación técnica.
Freno a los recortes presupuestarios a los programas sociales en vivienda, becas estudiantiles y al Patronato Nacional de la Infancia (PANI).
Defensa de la soberanía alimentaria.
Respeto de la División de Poderes del Estado y su independencia entre sí.
Protección de ecosistemas y rechazo al extractivismo y al uso indiscriminado de agroquímicos.
Defensa de los derechos y conquistas de las mujeres y oposición a la reestructuración del Instituto Nacional de las Mujeres (INAMU).
Cumplimiento de las reformas al Código de Trabajo en materia de trabajo doméstico.
La Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) anunció su respaldo y participación activa en la marcha.
