“Saprissa es Tibás y Tibás es Saprissa” dice familiar de fundador del club morado sobre trasladar La Cueva a Heredia
Horizonte Morado estudia la posibilidad de mover la sede del Deportivo Saprissa de Tibás a Barreal de Heredia, una propuesta que ha generado opiniones encontradas entre los seguidores del equipo.
Felipe Saprissa, familiar del fundador del club morado Ricardo Saprissa Aymá, dejó claro en entrevista con La República que rechaza rotundamente trasladar La Cueva del Monstruo a Heredia.
“Con respecto al estadio, sé que cuando se andaba buscando un terreno para la construcción del actual, se eligió Tibás simplemente por un tema de las condiciones de pago, antes de eso Saprissa y Tibás no tenían relación y los otros terrenos estaban en Desamparados y creo que Barrio Luján, siempre en la capital. Ahora, después de 52 años desde su inauguración, la mayoría de los morados entendemos que Saprissa es Tibás y Tibás es Saprissa, nada más”, dijo Felipe.
“Mi papá estuvo el día de la inauguración junto a don Ricardo y así lo ve también. Todos queremos un proyecto tan ambicioso e importante como el club, con toda su historia, lo merece, pero debe ser en Tibás. El saprissismo puede ir a cualquier rincón del país y llenar un estadio, pero la casa es la casa y es en el cantón josefino. Como por dar el brazo a torcer un poco, podría ser en otro lugar de la provincia, siempre cerca del centro, pero nunca en otra provincia”, finalizó.
