Luis Marin: “Guimaraes es el mejor entrenador que ha dado Costa Rica en la historia”
El técnico de San Carlos, Luis Antonio Marín, se mostró satisfecho y orgulloso tras el empate a un gol entre su equipo y Alajuelense, dirigido por Alexandre Guimaraes, en un partido disputado como visitante.
A pesar de que San Carlos estuvo a punto de llevarse los tres puntos al adelantarse en el marcador justo antes del final del primer tiempo, Marín destacó la actuación de su equipo y el hecho de haber puntuado contra un equipo dirigido por un referente como Guimaraes.
“Estoy orgulloso de competir contra él (Guimaraes); para mí, el profe Guima es el mejor entrenador que ha dado Costa Rica en la historia y competir contra él es un orgullo y un placer. Para nosotros es un referente, es un entrenador histórico, el mejor entrenador y estoy orgulloso de haber sacado un punto contra Guima, es motivante para mí”, expresó Marín a diario La Teja,
El entrenador de los Toros del Norte señaló que el primer tiempo fue muy bueno para su equipo, logrando ejecutar su plan de juego. Sin embargo, en el segundo tiempo, la Liga se volcó al ataque y modificó su sistema, lo que complicó las cosas para San Carlos.
“Tenemos un sabor agridulce, el primer tiempo fue muy bueno, tuvimos buen fútbol, hicimos cosas que queríamos hacer dentro del partido. En el segundo tiempo, claramente, la Liga es un buen rival, es de los mejores equipos, con excelentes jugadores y un excelente marcador, era lógico que se nos viniera encima”, concluyó Marín.
