Planearon un robo casi perfecto de carga valorada en ₡30 millones, pero al final todo les salió mal
Cuatro individuos armados llevaron a cabo un asalto a un trailero que transportaba una carga de hierro, valorada en ₡30 millones. El incidente tuvo lugar esta madrugada en San Juanillo de Naranjo, Alajuela.
Según informó La Nación, los delincuentes, a bordo de un vehículo, interceptaron al trailero a eso de las 12:20 a.m. de este sábado y tras detenerlo, lo despojaron violentamente de su camión. Posteriormente, amordazaron al conductor y lo abandonaron en un cafetal bajo la vigilancia de dos de los malhechores, en la zona de La Trocha de San Ramón.
Sin embargo, la suerte no estuvo del lado de los criminales. Mientras intentaban huir con el trailer robado, una parte de la carga se desprendió y cayó sobre la calzada en el área de La Palmita de Zarcero. Este infortunado incidente provocó que los ladrones abandonaran el vehículo y se retiraran en el automóvil que previamente los escoltaba.
El remolque contaba con un sistema de localización, por lo que las autoridades lograron dar con su paradero rápidamente.
Tras la divulgación de los hechos, las autoridades policiales iniciaron una investigación exhaustiva para capturar a los responsables, sin embargo, no lograron detener a ninguno.
El conductor fue rescatado y resultó ileso. Mientras que el camión fue recuperado.
En apariencia el material pertenece a una empresa de construcción con sede en San José y el cargamento iba hacia San Carlos.
