Christian Bolaños se retira del fútbol profesional, ¡el adiós de una leyenda!
El delantero pondrá fin a su carrera a los 39 años de edad tras una exitosa carrera.
Christian Bolaños, uno de los ídolos del Deportivo Saprissa y uno de los mejores jugadores de Costa Rica se retirará del fútbol profesional después de finalizado el torneo de Apertura 2023.
La noticia trascendió en diversos medios de comunicación este lunes luego de que el conjunto morado convocara a una conferencia de prensa este martes con la presencia de Bola, el gerente del club y el presidente Juan Carlos Rojas, donde se darán a conocer todos los detalles sobre el futuro del jugador.
Todo hace indicar que Bolaños anunciará la noticia del final de su carrera, este martes al mediodía en el Ricardo Saprissa Aymá.
El experimentado volante tiene 39 años de edad. Se formó en el Deportivo Saprissa. En el fútbol costarricense también militó con el Club Sport Cartaginés. Tiene de 22 años como jugador profesional y 9 títulos con Saprissa en primera división.
En el exterior hizo una gran carrera jugando en Dinamarca (Odense – Copenhague), Noruega (Start), Estados Unidos (Vancouver Whitecaps. Vancouver es de Canadá pero milita en la Major League Soccer de USA) y Qatar (Al-Gharafa).
Con la Selección de Costa Rica fue mundialista mayor en tres ocasiones: Alemania 2006, Brasil 2014 y Rusia 2018.
Según informó Tico Urbano, fuentes cercanas al jugador revelaron que Bolaños planea dedicar su tiempo a actividades benéficas y a la formación de jóvenes talentos en el ámbito del fútbol.
