Vladimir Quesada respalda a Mariano Torres: “Creo en su palabra”
El volante argentino fue acusado de racismo hacia el futbolista Freddy Góndola.
El director técnico del Deportivo Saprissa, Vladimir Quesada, dejó claro que respalda por completo al capitán, Mariano Torres.
Recordemos que el volante morado fue acusado de dirigir presuntos insultos racistas hacia Freddy Góndola en la final del Torneo de Copa. Tras los hechos, Liga Deportiva Alajuelense solicitó una sanción de 8 partidos y una multa de ₡1 millón.
“Tengo más de cinco años de conocerlo, es un tipo súper especial, es una gran persona, es un grandísimo jugador. Yo conversé con él y Mariano está muy consciente de lo que sucedió. Está muy consciente y nosotros también de que algunas personas quisieron magnificar el tema y agravarlo. Creo en la palabra de Mariano, no se expresó ofensivamente hacia ninguna persona y para nosotros el asunto queda ahí”, declaró Quesada a los medios de comunicación en el Media Day de la Unafut.
El entrenador confía en que no se imponga ninguna sanción, ya que sostiene que Mariano no incurrió en error alguno que justifique algún tipo de castigo.
