Fiscalía apela medidas cautelares contra funcionarios investigados por millonario robo a bóveda del Banco Nacional
Nueve personas son investigadas por la sustracción de ₡3.293 millones de la entidad bancaria.
El Ministerio Público presentó una apelación contra las medidas cautelares no privativas de libertad dictadas a seis funcionarios del Banco Nacional de Costa Rica (BNCR) investigados por la sustracción de ₡3.293 millones de la bóveda de la entidad bancaria.
La Oficina de Comunicación del Ministerio Público confirmó esta información al medio AmeliaRueda.com.
Las medidas alternativas a la prisión preventiva fueron impuestas a seis sospechosos involucrados en el expediente 23-000369-1218-PE.
Estos incluyen al jefe de tesorería, de apellidos Madrigal Faerrón; tres supervisores de procesamiento de efectivo de apellidos Blanco Oviedo, Ugalde Morales, y Ramírez Sandí; el contador Hernández Saborío; y la autoevaluadora de procesamiento de efectivo, de apellidos Cerdas Méndez.
El único que permanece en prisión preventiva es el tesorero, de apellido Olivas Valle, captado por cámaras de vigilancia en al menos 10 ocasiones sustrayendo dinero de la bóveda por medio de sobres de manila.
El pasado 11 de noviembre, día de la resolución del Juzgado Penal de Hacienda sobre este caso, el fiscal Ronald Segura declaró a la prensa que la Fiscalía apelaría las medidas.
“El despacho señaló que apeló las medidas cautelares no privativas de libertad, por lo que se está a la espera de que se realice la nueva audiencia”, indicó el Ministerio Público.
Segura no descartó la posibilidad de que el Gerente General del Banco Nacional, Bernardo Alfaro, y miembros de la Junta Directiva fueran también imputados en el caso.
En la lista de imputados también destacan la directora jurídica Herrera Cantillo y el guarda de seguridad privada Bolaños Zúñiga, quienes fueron eximidos de medidas cautelares el 9 de noviembre.
