Quién era el empresario que fue brutalmente asesinado en su propia casa en Escazú
Agentes del OIJ investigan los detalles que rodean la masacre del adulto mayor.
Randolph Brenner Silva tenía 69 años y fue asesinado el jueves anterior en su casa de habitación ubicada en un condominio en San Antonio de Escazú.
Según informó Telenoticias, Brenner era ingeniero agrónomo y empresario guatemalteco nacionalizado costarricense a quien, al parecer, lo asesinaron para robarle su vehículo.
Su cuerpo fue encontrado por un familiar en el baño del domicilio, presentaba múltiples heridas de arma blanca en la cara, pecho, y las manos.
Los agentes judiciales a cargo de la inspección y el levantamiento del cuerpo del hombre encontraron signos evidentes de violencia en el lugar.
Además, las autoridades descubrieron que el vehículo del fallecido, un Volkswagen Amarok con placas CL-318616 registrado a nombre de una sociedad anónima, no se encontraba en la propiedad en el momento del macabro hallazgo.
Agentes del OIJ entrevistaron a los vecinos del condominio donde residía la víctima e iniciaron la revisión de las cámaras de vigilancia del lugar, así como las cámaras de la Policía Municipal de Escazú, con el objetivo de identificar a los responsables de este trágico suceso.
El empresario guatemalteco era conocido en la comunidad y tenía antecedentes legales. En 1997, había sido sobreseído en una investigación relacionada con lavado de dinero, pero las circunstancias de su pasado no se han establecido como un vínculo directo con este incidente.
