Alajuelense es el mejor equipo de Costa Rica, según ranking de clubes de Concacaf
Tres equipos costarricenses están en el top 10 de clubes centroamericanos según el ranking de la Concacaf.
La Concacaf compartió el listado actualizado de los mejores equipos de la región, y además de destacar al América de México, que destronó al Monterrey en la cima del ranking, también destacó a tres equipos costarricenses entre los mejores de Centroamérica.
Este listado se basa conforme a resultados de las principales ligas del área, así como de competencias de la Concacaf como la Copa Centroamericana y la Copa del Caribe.
Clubes costarricenses
Con respecto a los equipos ticos Alajuelense aparece en el puesto 44; Saprissa es 47, Herediano 51, Cartaginés 60, Sporting 74, Guanacasteca 77, San Carlos 78, Santos 79, Puntarenas 91, Liberia 94, Pérez Zeledón 99 y el Municipal Grecia está en la posición 103.
Equipos centroamericanos
En Centroamérica los cuatro primeros lugares no sufrieron modificaciones con respecto al anterior listado, Olimpia, de Honduras es número uno de la región mientras que Alajuelense, Saprissa y Herediano siguen el ritmo.
En quinta posición aparece Comunicaciones, ya que los resultados en Liga Nacional y el ganar el repechaje a la Copa de Campeones le valieron al equipo crema para regresar al top 5.
En la sexta posición se ubica el Municipal de Guatemala, en la sétima el CA Independiente de Panamá, en la octava Antigua GFC de Guatemala.
Cierran en la novena posición el Motagua y en la décima el Marathón, ambos de Honduras.
El mejor ascenso dentro del ranking de clubes de la Concacaf lo protagonizó el Real Estelí, ya que comenzó en el puesto 89 en octubre y finalizó en el 73. Desde julio que se actualiza el listado, el conjunto nicaragüense ha escalado 46 puestos.
Guanacasteca también se menciona en el ranking de Concacaf como uno de los clubes de mayor ascenso.
