Costa Rica cierra su participación en los Juegos Panamericanos con nueve medallas
La competición que se efectuó en Santiago de Chile terminó este domingo.
Tras 17 días de actividad la delegación tica finalizó su participación en la décimo novena edición de los Juegos Panamericanos Santiago 2023. Costa Rica obtuvo nueve preseas.
Este domingo finalizó la competición que se llevó a cabo en Chile.
En esta edición de los Juegos Panamericanos, la delegación costarricense tuvo un desempeño sobresaliente, consiguiendo su segunda mayor cantidad de medallas en la historia de la competición.
Los nacionales destacaron en disciplinas como: boxeo, ciclismo, natación, tenis, triatlón, nado sincronizado, atletismo, entre otras.
Las medallas
• Oro: Andrea Vargas (atletismo, 100 vallas).
• Plata: Jennifer Kalmbach (surf, SUP Race).
• Bronce: Daniela Rojas (atletismo, 400 vallas).
• Bronce: Andrés Acuña y Gabriel García (ráquetbol, dobles masculinos).
• Bronce: Maricruz Ortiz (ráquetbol, individual femenino).
• Bronce: Leilani McGonagle (surf, shortboard).
• Bronce: Lía Díaz (surf, longboard).
• Bronce: Marco Moretti y Juan José Rodriguez (boliche, dobles masculino).
• Bronce: Marco Moretti (evento individual masculino).
