Niña termina en el hospital con un alambre en la garganta tras comer un sándwich
Mientras una niña de 9 años cenaba huevo con tocino, un pedazo de alambre estaba entre su sándwich, se lo tragó y días después comenzó a sentirse mal.
Una cena familiar terminó en una sala de urgencias, cuando a una niña se le atoró un pedazo de alambre en la garganta, el cual estaba dentro de sus alimentos. El incidente ocurrió en Australia.
La menor, de 9 años de edad, estaba cenando un sándwich de huevo con tocino, de repente sintió “algo en su garganta” que le obstruía y provocó que se ahogara.
A pesar de seguir con las molestias y dolor de garganta, no le dieron mayor importancia a la situación, aunque cada vez presentaba más síntomas extraños, incluso su médico de confianza le dijo que se trataba de una simple fiebre.
Un día, comenzó a tener comportamientos extraños, como si estuviera confundida, por lo que su mamá llamó nuevamente al médico, quien le recomendó que acudiera de manera inmediata al hospital.
Tras realizarse una serie de estudios, encontraron abscesos en el cerebro que eran producidos por un alambre para que habita entrada a sus sistema a través de algún alimento.
El objeto le atravesó el esófago y entró hasta su arteria carótida, en el cuello, ante la gravedad de la situación tuvo que ser llevada de emergencia en helicóptero a otro hospital para que la atendieran cirujanos especialistas.
Por fortuna, la intervención fue exitosa y luego de algunos meses de recuperación, la niña fue dada de alta y ya puede hacer su vida de manera normal.
