Niña terminó en el hospital tras confundir picadura de araña con una alergia
La menor manifestó que sentía incomodidad con su pijama, por lo cual la madre pensó que le molestaba la etiqueta de la prenda. Horas después descubrieron que había sido picada por una araña, cuyo veneno había comenzado a causarle problemas renales.
Una niña tuvo que ser tratada por meses después de pensar que su pijama le causaba alergia, cuando en realidad había sido picada por una araña venenosa . Su familia ahora comparte la historia para concientizar a otros de los peligros que puede traer el no atender correctamente estos casos.
Jessica Calvillo, una madre de Estados Unidos, compartió en TiktTok todos los percances de salud de su hija Adallyn, de tan solo 9 años, tras ser picada por una araña de rincón.
Sin embargo, un par de horas después fue llamada por la enfermera de la escuela diciéndole que la menor estaba pálida, temblando y tenía una pequeña herida en el brazo.
Aunque pensó que era una picadura de araña, el doctor que los atendió descartó que fuera esto y creía que era más bien alguna clase de pellizco, ante lo cual recomendó algunos antibióticos y los mandó a casa.
“En el momento, mi hija no sabía lo grave que podía ser e hicimos lo mejor para que ella entendiera lo que estaba pasando, pero no queríamos que estuviera asustada”, comentó la madre, quien admitió haber quedado traumatizada con la experiencia.
Tras ello, la pequeña deportista debió pasar por un doloroso proceso de recuperación donde debieron utilizar transfusiones de sangre, diálisis y terapia física para que así pudiera volver a jugar softball.
Jessica añadió que ahora “Adalynn tiene una gran cicatriz y un nuevo miedo a todos los insectos», pero que la «familia ha crecido en amor y fe”.
Los expertos recomiendan a las personas sacudir la ropa y los tendidos de la cama para evitar esta clase de picaduras.
Así mismo, aconsejan que, en caso de ser mordido por una araña de rincón, se busque atención médica de manera inmediata, pues, aunque muchas veces esto no pasa a mayores, también puede desencadenar destrucción de tejidos y necrosis.
