De acuerdo con el pronóstico del tiempo para este miércoles 18 de octubre, el patrón lluvioso que se ha presentado en los últimos días predominará en el Valle Central y a lo largo del Pacífico Central.
Según detalló el Instituto Meteorológico Nacional (IMN), para el día de hoy se prevén lluvias y aguaceros vespertinos en diversos sectores, especialmente en las cordilleras, Valle Central, Pacífico Central y Sur.
“Podría percibirse un ambiente ventoso (valores moderados) en el Pacífico Norte durante el día, igualmente hacia la cordillera de Guanacaste, indicó la entidad en su reporte de este miércoles por la mañana”, detalló la institución.
Debido a lo anterior y tras lo ocurrido en los últimos días, el IMN le recomienda a los ciudadanos lo siguiente:
- Precaución por saturación de alcantarillado en lugares propensos a este tipo de inundaciones.
- Prevención ante tormenta eléctrica y buscar refugio en un sitio seguro en caso de presentarse o de percibir fuertes ráfagas de viento cerca de las nubes de tormenta, debido a la posible caída de ramas de árboles, tendido eléctrico, entre otros. Estas ráfagas pueden alcanzar entre 80 a 100 km/h en algunos casos aislados.
