Periodista libanés fue asesinado por misil de Israel; hay otros tres graves
Issam Abdullah, periodista libanés, fue asesinado por un misil de Israel mientras se encontraba en la zona de conflicto cubriendo para todo el mundo.
El periodista libanés Issam Abdullah, que trabajaba para la agencia Reuters, fue asesinado y otros tres fueron heridos de gravedad cuando su vehículo fue impactado por un misil de Israel en Alma Shaab, al sur del Líbano. Se especifica que el vehículo estaba marcado como “carro de prensa” y se encontraba en el área para reportar los eventos del conflicto mediante una transmisión en vivo.
El ataque despertó en cientos la preocupación de la seguridad de los periodistas que trabajan en la zona. La Agencia Nacional de Noticias del Líbano (ANN) informó que Israel ha atacado varios puntos en el área comprendida entre las localidades de Al Dhahira y Alma al Shaab, donde también se habrían producido intercambios de disparos.
Issam era parte de un equipo de Reuters en el sur del Líbano que proporcionaba una señal de vídeo en directo.

La agencia Reuters confirmó que los nombres de los periodistas en estado grave son Thaer A-Sudani and Maher Nazeh, también de la agencia.
Cabe destacar que Israel ordenó evacuar la zona norte de la Franja de Gaza en las próximas 24 horas, donde actualmente viven 1.1 millones de personas. De acuerdo con la Organización de las Naciones Unidas (ONU) informó que Israel ordenó la evacuación para permitir que los civiles salgan de la zona de conflicto contra Hamás.
Sin embargo, las organizaciones unidas determinaron que es “imposible” que se realice el desplazamiento sin “consecuencias humanitarias devastadoras”.
Asimismo, Human Rights Watch (HRW) acusó a Israel de utilizar fósforo blanco contra la población de Gaza, una sustancia prohibida internacionalmente por las graves consecuencias que provoca en las personas.
