‘Es un ejemplo del fracaso de la política de Estados Unidos en Oriente Medio’
El Presidente ruso, Vladimir Putin, dijo este martes que el conflicto entre Israel y el grupo palestino Hamás ilustra «el fracaso» de la política de Estados Unidos en Oriente Medio.
Asimismo, el mandatario afirmó que la creación de un Estado palestino «soberano e independiente» es una «necesidad».
¿Qué dijo Putin sobre el conflicto entre Israel y Palestina?
En la instancia, acusó a Washington de intentar «monopolizar el arreglo» y no buscar «compromisos aceptables para ambas partes», sino promover «su propia visión sobre lo que había que hacer, presionando a los dos bandos».
Putin aseguró que Estados Unidos «no tuvo nunca en cuenta los intereses fundamentales del pueblo palestino», en relación con la «necesidad de aplicar las decisiones del Consejo de Seguridad de Naciones Unidas sobre la creación de un Estado palestino soberano e independiente».
Cabe destacar que Israel ha confirmado hasta ahora más de 900 muertos y 2.700 heridos desde el inicio de la ofensiva de Hamás, lanzada el sábado y respaldada por Yihad Islámica.
En tanto, 765 palestinos han perdido la vida y unos 4.000 han resultado heridos a consecuencia de los bombardeos y ataques de Israel contra la Franja, a lo que se suman más de 15 en operaciones y enfrentamientos con las fuerzas israelíes en Cisjordania.
Además, el ejército informó del hallazgo en su territorio de 1.500 cuerpos de combatientes del grupo terrorista.
