Mujer recibirá millonaria indemnización luego que su jefe dijera que síntomas de menopausia eran ‘excusas’ para no ir a trabajar
La demandante -que recibirá más de 40 millones de pesos- acusó que su jefe le decía que utilizaba ‘la menopausia para todo’, pese a que experimentó diversos síntomas graves que le impedían trabajar.
En Escocia, una mujer recibirá una indemnización de 37 mil libras esterlinas luego que presentar una demanda contra la empresa para la que trabajaba y su exjefe.
Según recoge la BBC, se trata de Karen Farguharson (49), quien demandó a su jefe Jim Clark, gerente de Thistle Marine, y a la empresa por despido improcedente y acoso.
Además, acusó a su exjefe de tener un «odio enfermizo» a la gente que no se presentaba a trabajar», además de una actitud retrógrada.
De hecho, la empresa pagó una evaluación privada para la denunciante, la cual, arrojó que además de hemorragias, surtía ansiedad, pérdida de concentración y niebla cerebral.
